It’s Friday again and a good time to reflect on the past week’s news. This time around we’re using The Queen’s impending Diamond Jubilee celebrations to discuss what’s changed in the past 60 years in the medical device industry, whether change is accelerating or decelerating. We also try to spot a few products that haven’t changed all that much.

We try to bring some reality to the subject of device regulation with some real world examples of how things sometimes just go wrong in a way that would be difficult to predict and therefore legislate for.

And we review the week’s events as we picked them.
