Stryker Corporation has appointed Ramesh Subrahmanian as Group President of its international business.
Mr Subrahmanian will be replacing Andrew Fox-Smith in Singapore, who is leaving Stryker to explore other career opportunities.
He will report to Stephen P. MacMillan, President and CEO of Stryker. Mr MacMillan said: “He is a proven healthcare leader who has demonstrated the ability to drive profitable growth and innovation”.
Mr Subrahmanian has 23 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry, holding positions at Merck and Sanofi-Aventis. His most recent role was Senior Vice President & President at Asia Pacific for Merck & Co.
Stryker Corporation is an orthopaedic company that develops medical devices to be distributed worldwide. The company’s focus includes joint replacements, trauma, spine and micro implant systems, orthobiologics, endoscopic products and emergency medical equipment.
