In recent weeks we’ve reported quite extensively on the American controversy concerning the availability to patients of the data being collected by their implantable cardiac devices for use by manufacturers and clinicians.
In this article from the Detriot Free Press we again hear from campaigner Hugo Campos who, since first publicising his desire to get hold of the raw data from his own implant (to which he is legally entitled in USA), has been offered assistance from hackers who are helping him to “tap into the wireless system and unlock the data”.
