This week has seen the 26th meeting of the North American Spins Society Meeting in Chicago. The Society welcome notes claimed to have strategically developed an outstanding educational experience that promises to be professionally challenging and rewarding. Indeed this year’s programme offered more than 550 presentations, including symposia, best papers, focused paper presentations, concurrent sessions, instructional courses, technique workshops and allied health tracks.
The top graded papers were presented at the start of each day. Symposia topics included health policy, spinal emergencies and controversies, the use of BMP in spine surgery, spine tumors and biologics. Concurrent session topics included deformity, vertebral compression fractures, trauma, cervical disc arthroplasty, injections, complications, outcomes, exercise and spinal health.
The organisation is now accepting abstracts for its 2012 event, which will be held between October 24 -27 in Dallas Texas. Submission deadline is February 1st 2012. Details can be found here.
