Medical device company Zimmer Spine plans to close its Austin facility at 5301 Riata Vista Circle and consolidate operations in Minneapolis and Memphis.
According to the Austin Business Journal, Zimmer officials said in a statement that the consolidation is meant to “streamline its business,” the Austin American-Statesman reports.
The company, which nearly 100 people in Austin, will offer an undisclosed number of those workers a chance to relocate to Minneapolis. Officials expect the changes to be completed in July.
