The European Federation of National Associations of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (EFORT) will be holding its 13th annual congress at Berlin’s Congress Centre later this month. The event has become one of Europe’s favourite orthopaedic congresses over the years and comprises an excellent scientific programme as well as an exhibition attended by all the major the ortho and trauma industry players.

According to the welcome notes, the scientific programme will be focused mainly on symposia and instructional lectures given by distinguished speakers, as well as free paper submissions from all over Europe.

Highlights of the Congress include the aging spine, navigation and soft tissue balancing in total knee arthroplasty, orthopaedic responsibility in pain treatment, arthroscopy in hand surgery, treatment options in difficult cases, and an evaluation of stem cell therapy, to mention only a few.
