For the first time, C-Arm specialist Ziehm Imaging now also offers its mobile C-arm Ziehm Vision R with a powerful 20 kW generator. The compact monoblock generator triples the performance of the predecessor model and can be used for unlimited fluoroscopy time in the OR as it is water-cooled. Ziehm Vision R thus opens up new imaging possibilities for analog C-arms in vascular surgery.
More power for high-quality imaging in the OR
Complementing key image-processing components, the generator power of a C-arm plays a defining role in everyday clinical workflows as it ensures reliable, high-quality images during surgical procedures.
Thanks to the new generator, Ziehm Vision R can display even the smallest anatomical structures and gives surgeons clear visualization at any stage during the intervention. With its rotating anode, the 20 kW monoblock generator uses a variable pulse width of between 4 and 50 ms to produce crystal-clear images. Up to 25 frames per second enable high-quality X-rays of vascular structures or cardiological and cardiosurgical visualizations with optimum contrast. The C-arm features active liquid cooling to keep the operating temperature steady, ensuring continuous imaging by preventing the generator from overheating.
