An item of no doubt interest to the global surgical community:
Foxnews.com tells the unfortunate story of a Las Vegas man with a medical condition that has caused his scrotum to swell to more than 100 pounds, and who is trying to raise $1 million for surgery to correct it.
Wesley Warren Jr., went public about his condition—scrotal elephantiasis—because he is desperate to try and raise the cash for the costly operation.
Warren’s scrotum is so large that he has trouble walking and using the bathroom.
As reported in the Las Vegas Review Journal here; “It sat in front of him, on top of a pillow that rested on a milk crate.”
“He sprinkled baby powder on it — what looked like a huge watermelon encased in a compression bandage — but the unmistakable smell of urine couldn’t be completely smothered.”
And there’s more: “Many people have reached him through his benefitballsack@yahoo.com email address, he said.”
