Technology Fuels Global Medical Training

Global video gaming inspired Boston Children’s Hospital and IBM to develop a cloud-based training module on paediatric critical care.

This insightful video clip shows Jeffrey Burns , Chief of Critical Care at the Children’s Hospital, Boston speaking to an audience of Information Technologists about a “cloud-based” paediatric learning module, conceived by Children’s Hospital Boston and built by IBM Interactive which is being beta-tested in 20 countries. The technology is aimed at delivering better training on paediatric critical care to a global audience and the focus is especially on less well developed countries from Cambodia to Guatemala.
